Honest Review of the Crypto.com CRO Visa Rewards Card

What is the Crypto.com CRO Card?
In a nutshell, the CDC (Crypto.com) CRO Visa cards are prepaid debit cards that reward you for holding a cryptocurrency called CRO. There are five tiers of the card available from Crypto.com, each with its own set of requirements and bounty of rewards. Currently I am a pleased consumer with a Ruby Steel Visa Debit card. My card is made of metal and offers an abundance of rewards including 2% cash back on everything.
Getting Started
Getting started with the CRO Visa couldn’t be easier, and it can be completed in just 15 minutes! The first step is to visit the crypto.com website here https://platinum.crypto.com/r/a7xwkm53fe or to get the app and enter promotional code a7xwkm53fe. Immediately after you have signed up, you will automatically be rewarded $25 in CRO that will be unlocked after getting your card. At this point you will have to evaluate your options and choose which card is right for you, the different card tiers are listed in the chart below. Keep in mind that you will unlock the $25 bonus when you stake $400 of CRO or more. After staking your CRO, all that is left to do is to order your CRO Card through the "card" section of the app or website. After that you can enjoy your sign up bonus and cashback rewards! Depending on where you are located the card can take from 1–3 weeks. I personally received my card within 1 week in the United States.
Ease of Use
I'm not lying when I tell you this card feels premium! With the combination of a fully metal composition, simplistic design, and contactless payment technology, the card feels seamless. To add funds to your card you can either transfer funds from any bank account, PayPal account, or you can just top up with your crypto! I personally have my card connected to Google Pay and it integrates spectacularly! At the terminal don't think, just tap!
Rebates and Rewards
Now we can get to the main reason I love this card, rewards! (Who doesn’t love rewards?) This card is unmatched by any other debit card out there and even beats one of my credit cards! The Ruby Steel card gets 2% back, free Spotify, and more. There are no monthly fees, yearly fees or delivery fees. Also, the foreign transaction rates are some of the lowest I’ve seen. If you are not comfortable staking the CRO, then after six months you can just unstake, sell your coins for cash, and keep your same card with 1% rebate.
Final Thoughts
I believe that the CRO card is not only a great rewards debit card, but also a great way to get into cryptocurrency. Crypto.com makes it so easy to invest in crypto and trade it. They also allow you to earn interest on your coins while you aren’t using them which I think is awesome! You have to decide which card you want depending on your spending and the rewards you want. In the end, anyone with one of these cards is going to be happy and learn to love crypto. I will continue using my CRO card and update my review with future thoughts.
